Flora Leamer
Flora Leamer has been Membership Recruitment Representative since 2013 to obtain new Chamber memberships.
Flora is retired from her 48 year accounting career. She was a Tax Accountant with Tronconi, Segarra & Associates LLP, CPA's., and DKS, CPA’s., for 19 of those years. Prior to that Flora was self employed with her own accounting practice and understands the challenges of operating a small business. She appreciates the importance of networking, and encourages business people to get involved in promoting their business.
She is very thankful to be part of the Clarence community and enjoys giving back by volunteering with many organizations over the years: Clarence Hollow Farmers’ Market, Bark in the Park, Garden Friends of Clarence, Winterfest, Clarence Women’s Club, Clarence Contemporary Club, Clarence Historical Society, Newstead Historical Society, Akron Alumni Assn, Rock the Barn, Clarence Clubhouse Restoration, American Heart Association, Clarence Center’s Meet in the Center, Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, Erie County Fair as Bubbles the Clown, and other events and opportunities.
Flora and her husband John were named Citizen’s of the Year in 2000 by the Clarence Chamber; 2009 she was honored by NYS Senator Michael Ranzenhofer as “Woman of Distinction”; 2012 Flora was named Lifetime Achiever by the Clarence Chamber. She is grateful and humbled for the honors along with other recognitions for community service.
She is thankful that God has blessed her with an abundant life and enjoys serving with her husband. Flora is a strong advocate for helping and promoting the people of Clarence. She encourages everyone to become involved as it benefits not only themselves but the community they live in.
